Installation
Add your Taste theme and any item to a React + Tailwind v4 project with one command: npx sketchxflow.
1 · Your project
Taste installs into any React project on Tailwind CSS v4 — Next.js, Vite and the rest — with its own CLI, npx sketchxflow. Nothing to install first: it checks the project and tells you what's missing. The CLI is new, so if something looks off, the Manual tab on every item page always works.
2 · Your theme
This adds your system (the one these docs are drawn in — change it with Brand or on the Theme page) to your global stylesheet as CSS variables: light on :root, dark on .dark, plus the Tailwind mapping (bg-primary, text-fg-muted…). It also adds the cn()helper if you don't have one. Run it again after changing your colour — it only replaces its own marked block.
$ npx sketchxflow init3 · Add an item
Then add anything by name. Files land in components/taste/, and the item's packages install with your package manager:
$ npx sketchxflow add buttonEach item page has its own command under Installation. Every option is on the CLI page.
Starter items
The Originals' code and every template come with SketchXFlow Starter. Log in once — it opens your browser, and the terminal picks up your account:
$ npx sketchxflow loginThen they install the same way, for example this Original:
$ npx sketchxflow add ink-toggle
